REWYND

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 28, 2026

These Terms govern the use of the app and related services provided by Rewynd (the "Company"), including the rights, obligations and responsibilities of both users and the Company. The Company does not offer auto-renewing subscription products; paid products are sold only as one-time purchases of consumable items.

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the app and related services provided by the Company, along with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of users and the Company.

Article 2 (Overview of the Service)

The Company provides retro social adventure game content, video viewing through the shared cinema, community features, and the sale of paid in-app items. Some features may require signing in or purchasing paid items.

Article 3 (Paid Products and Payment)

  • All paid products sold by the Company are consumable items that are credited to your account immediately upon purchase and are used up when consumed. The Company does not offer auto-renewing subscription products, so there is no subscription cancellation process.
  • Payments are made through the mobile store you are using (Apple App Store or Google Play) and are billed to that store account.
  • The price and quantity of each paid product are shown on the in-app purchase screen and may differ by country depending on exchange rates, store policies and taxes.
  • Once a payment completes successfully, the item is credited to your account immediately. If delivery is delayed due to a network error or similar issue, you may request recovery by restarting the app or contacting customer support.
  • Paid items may be used only inside the app. They cannot be exchanged for cash or other assets, and cannot be transferred, sold or lent to another person.
  • Unless stated otherwise, paid items have no expiry date and remain available for as long as your account is active.

Article 3-1 (Withdrawal of Purchase and Refunds)

  • Under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, you may withdraw a purchase within 7 days of the purchase date.
  • However, items that have already been consumed may be excluded from withdrawal under Article 17(2) of the same Act. Items that remain unused may be refunded within the period above.
  • Refunds are processed according to the refund policy and procedure of the mobile store where the payment was made. The Company cooperates within reasonable limits, such as by confirming purchase records.
  • If your account has been restricted for violating these Terms, refunds may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • If damage arises due to a fault attributable to the Company (duplicate charges, undelivered items, service errors, etc.), the Company will re-deliver the item or refund the amount paid.

Article 3-2 (Purchases by Minors)

If a minor under the age of 19 makes a purchase without the consent of their legal guardian, either the minor or the guardian may cancel that purchase. Cancellation may be restricted where the purchase was made within the scope of property the guardian permitted the minor to dispose of, or where the minor used deception to appear to be an adult.

Article 3-3 (Forfeiture of Items and Service Termination)

  • Unused paid items remaining in your account are forfeited when you delete your account and are, in principle, not eligible for a refund.
  • If the Company terminates the service, it will give notice through the app or its official channels at least 30 days before the termination date and will explain the refund procedure for unused paid items.

Article 4 (User Obligations)

Users must comply with applicable laws and these Terms and must not interfere with the operation of the service or infringe the rights of others. In particular, bypassing the payment system, obtaining items with tampered receipts, and trading or transferring accounts or paid items are prohibited.

Article 5 (Intellectual Property)

Rights to the content, trademarks, logos and designs within the service belong to the Company or the respective rights holders. Reproduction, distribution or transmission without prior consent is prohibited.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, network failures or platform policy changes. The Company remains liable under applicable law for damage caused by its intent or gross negligence.

Article 7 (Changes to These Terms)

The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. Material changes will be announced through the app or official channels at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavorable to users.

Article 8 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute relating to use of the service, the Company and the user will make good-faith efforts to resolve it. If no agreement is reached, the matter will proceed according to the procedures prescribed by applicable law.
