◀◀ WHAT IS REWYND

Watch, play, collect and gather — in one retro world

REWYND is a retro entertainment platform where watching, gaming, avatars and social experiences connect inside one world. Explore villages, restore the memories of NPCs, and watch old films together with friends in the same theater.

Retro Village Exploration

Walk pixel-art streets where even a familiar-looking sign might start a story.

Story Quests

Every lost memory of an NPC becomes a quest. Solve them and the village wakes up.

Rhythm · Puzzle · Arcade

Music becomes rhythm games, stories become puzzles. Content itself becomes play.

Avatars & Costumes

Quest rewards build a one-of-a-kind wardrobe. Limited items never come back.

Shared Cinema

Don't watch classics alone. Same theater, same scene, same laughter.

Culture Restoration

Public-domain masterpieces come back to life in game form.

◀◀ NOT AN ARCHIVE

We don't exhibit the past

We restore it — into worlds you can enter, hear, and play.

An old film◀◀ rewound becomesa shared cinema you laugh in together
A forgotten song◀◀ rewound becomesa rhythm game your fingers remember
A brand's history◀◀ rewound becomesa village and quests you play yourself
◀◀ RESTORE LAB

What a Restoration Agent does, exactly

Every Brooklyn resident exists in the game as two pieces of art — one who lost something, and one who got it back. Finish the quest and the picture standing in the village is actually swapped. All five below are real game files. Press to restore them yourself.

Charlie Reed — BEFORECharlie Reed — RESTOREDBEFORE

Charlie Reed

Trumpeter

The Blocked Saxophone

His horn is blocked — no matter how hard he blows, nothing comes out.

Dottie Hayes — BEFOREDottie Hayes — RESTOREDBEFORE

Dottie Hayes

Drummer

The Missing Drumsticks

She lost her sticks, so she is drumming with a soup ladle.

Frankie Cole — BEFOREFrankie Cole — RESTOREDBEFORE

Frankie Cole

Pianist

Frankie's Forgotten Movement

He cannot recall the final movement of his own song, and breaks down at the keys.

Ruby Monroe — BEFORERuby Monroe — RESTOREDBEFORE

Ruby Monroe

Vocalist

A Note Stuck in the Throat

Her voice cracks on every high note, so she freezes at the mic.

Eddie Malone — BEFOREEddie Malone — RESTOREDBEFORE

Eddie Malone

Bassist

Eddie's Run

He put the bass down and only ever sits in the driver seat of his red sports car.

All ten files are the beforeClearImage / afterClearImage originals from the live Season 1 map catalogs.

◀◀ THE ROUTE

From Broadway to Brooklyn — the route you actually walk

These eight stops are the real path that unlocks in order in the live build. Not a tutorial — just the story continuing.

BroadwaySTOP 01

1950 New York · the Broadway theater strip

Broadway

What you do here

You wake up here, meet MaengDori, and learn to move with the joystick.

What you get

Provisional Time Bureau agent status

The subway turnstile only opens once every Broadway quest is done. Nothing can be skipped, so drop-off shows up exactly where it happens.

◀◀ EXPLORE THE WORLDS

Worlds under restoration

Broadway

Broadway

1950 New York — where every memory line converges

A four-layer parallax street where the theatre marquee burns and the arcade neon flashes. Clothing store, Penny Arcade, Broadway Theater, ticket booth, Times Square station entrance, newsstand and Time Bureau run in one line.

Subway Platform

Subway Platform

The only road between villages

The turnstile opens only after every Broadway quest is cleared. Ask porter on the platform for the next restoration zone and the train pulls in.

Brooklyn Jazz Village

Brooklyn Jazz Village

Season 1 — the village robbed of its sound

A two-tier street at sunset. Upstairs: the burger joint, tanning salon, liquor shop, instrument repair shop, jazz bar and warehouse. Downstairs: apartments, hair salon, coffee shop, subway and the Brooklyn Theatre.

Shared Cinema

Shared Cinema

Laughing at the same scene together

A social screening space for classic film and animation with other players. The lights go down and the story starts.

◀◀ CONTENT BECOMES A GAME

One line of story becomes one round of play

REWYND's minigames aren't side content. An NPC's problem is the game's rule set — a clogged sax becomes a repair-matching game, a forgotten movement becomes a rhythm chart, a severed grid becomes a wiring puzzle. Over 20 of them ship in the current build.

More minigames keep landing in the live build.

MAIN STORY

The Zero Archivist severed the Retro Memory Line. The agents lost their signal. Broadway went dark. And the last candidate has no registration record — you.

◀◀ WORK WITH US

Four ways into REWYND

We are not restoring this world alone. Investment, brands, IP, publishing — every door leads to the same place.

TRACK 01Investment

Public-domain classics cost nothing to license, but nobody watches them in their original form. REWYND rebuilds that content into villages, quests and minigames people actually play. Build the world once, then keep stacking seasons and brand worlds on top of it.

What we can build together

  • One continuous world where play, viewing and social all connect
  • A season-based content pipeline — one region ships as one season
  • Brand worlds — a model where advertisers fund the game development
  • Map-editor pipeline: a new region ships in weeks, not quarters

Why now

01

Retro is a distribution strategy, not a mood

Masterpieces in the public domain can be used immediately, with no licensing negotiation. The problem is the format — and that is what we change.

02

Advertising has run out of places to go

Skipped, blocked, ignored. Brands are no longer shopping for impressions; they are looking for a place people have a reason to stay in.

03

Build the world once, ship content forever

Maps, quests, minigames and the avatar system already stand. Putting a season or a brand world on top of that costs nothing like starting from zero.
